Temple Reopening for Devotees – June 2020 – Limited Hours

Dear Devotees,

Kundrathu Kumaran Temple Easing of Corona Virus Related Restrictions

Australia is extremely lucky to have brought Coronavirus under control without too much suffering. However we still have a long way to go and we all have to play our role to control the spread of the virus.

Under new arrangements that is coming into effect from Monday,01 June 2020, Victorian State Government has allowed Temples to open for pre-arranged worship or small religious ceremonies with up to 20 people.

Therefore as a first step, from Monday 01 June 2020 Temple Management will admit those who have a confirmed booking/sponsorship of daily or Friday poojas and sponsors of special Abishekam or Homam or ceremonies to the Temple and participate in those poojas. Only five devotees per booking will be admitted. Temple will also admit all devotees (even if you don’t have confirmed booking/sponsorship) during the following days / times

Days – Times
Tuesday -9.30am to 11.30am and 7.00pm to 8.50pm
Friday -9.30am to 11.30am and 7.00pm to 8.50pm
Saturday -9.30am to 11.30am and 7.00pm to 8.50pm
Sunday -9.30am to 11.30am and 7.00pm to 8.50pm

Maximum of 20 devotees allowed inside at any one time and these requirements will be strictly enforced to comply with the law.

Temple Canteen will remain closed for now.

As soon as the situation allows us, we will further relax these restrictions. We will keep you informed.

Please note the following conditions to be followed in view of the COVID 19 related restrictions.
1. Devotees must provide their contact details in the booking form or when you are entering the Temple.
2. Devotees must strictly follow social distancing between themselves and the temple staff.
3. Maximum of 20 devotees will be allowed to be present in the temple at any given time.
4. Devotees must declare their health status in respect of COVID 19.
5. We may undertake temperature check before you enter the Temple.

These requirements will be strictly enforced to comply with the law
During these difficult times we seek your support and understanding. Please take all precautions to avoid the spread of this virus and stay safe.

For the next six months please enter the Temple via 196 Sinclairs Road, Deanside 3336. New Temple signs installed at this entrance.
